Connecticut: Part 1

August 1, 2011

Some dear friends invited us up for a weekend in Western Connecticut. Such a relaxing change of pace – albeit very humid and bug-infested. This set is from the first night as we arrived during the blue hour. More to come. Happy Monday!

1, 4. Our lodging: The Captain Philo Beardsely House, built in 1770.

2. Many hours logged in the pool.

3. Friends on the deck.

5. Night falls over the buzzing meadows.

These photos are amazing, I love how the windows are illuminated with lights from the inside. The house and the garden seems wonderful.
