Quality Peoples
Designer, artist and surfer, Ed Fladung represents 1/2 of the fantastic duo that is Quality Peoples. From his beachside outpost in Nayarit, Mexico, Ed is moving into his second season of designs with his partner John Esguerra (based in Hawaii) of well-done surf-inspired wares. Alongside a bevy of nicely-crafted t-shirt designs, the new catalog also implements new classics such as chinos and boardshorts. With a socially conscious framework and high standard for quality, a great degree of care goes into the fabric, stitching and sourcing options for each garment. Additionally, a profit-sharing partnership is in place with a coastal Mexican non-profit called P.E.A.C.E. I caught up with Ed a few weeks ago when he was in the city to talk about design, fashion and of course, surfing. Click here for more info and stockists for Quality Peoples.
