Music For Summer

June 27, 2011

The burgeoning trills of summer are afloat in the dusk-light hovering over the many bodies of water that encompass the northern hemisphere of this star. Hence, a playlist of suitable songs of music for the warm air encircling and water cascading about. Happy summerings.

Michael, just moseyed over here while checking out some fellow Kinfolk contributors, and am in the middle of downloading your *excellent* playlist. Thanks much for introducing some new music into my life. Very much inspired by your photos and thoughts here, and can’t wait to see your work in the magazine. Cheers! lily

Just found your mixes through Kinfolk – are you me?! I have made seasonal mixes for years, and although the songs and artists are different, the moods and timbres here are almost exactly the same as mine. I’m loving them – just listened through 2011 now, and moving on to 2010 soon. Hope you keep making them.

I’ve never put them online – I’ve only ever made CD copies and mailed them to friends, but I’ll see about doing that and send you a link.
